episode 58

One year ago, I walked away from an extremely toxic, four-year-long relationship and it was one of the hardest and best decisions I have ever made. While walking away from a long-term relationship that I had poured so much time and energy into was difficult the second it was over I felt so free, like this weight had been lifted off of me and my anxiety just vanished.

In this episode I discuss:

  • Learning to love myself and realizing that I deserved more

  • My self-improvement and self-love journey over the last year and becoming more independent

  • Raising my standards and knowing what I want in life

I have grown so much over the last year and as I look back on my relationship, I wonder how I could have ever put up with such awful treatment, but we accept the love we think we deserve. I hope you know that you deserve to feel loved, respected and safe in your relationships and there is someone out there for you that will trat you right.
