Lately I have been feeling incredibly overwhelmed and exhausted but I still put all this pressure on myself to stay productive. While I love sharing productivity tips I also know how important it is to prioritize rest, something I haven't been doing lately and my body finally forced me to slow down. I say this all the time but you cannot pour from an empty cup. We wear busy like a badge of honor and run ourselves ragged trying to be productive. I’m all for working towards your goals and getting things done but if we don’t stop and rest along the way we will burnout before we get where we want to go.

Your value does not come from how many things you’re able to check off your to do list every day. I’m sure you’ve heard the saying “it’s the journey, not the destination” and it’s so true. Take time to stop and enjoy the journey to accomplishing your goals rather than constantly sprinting towards the finish line.
